The United Nations has named Darfur, Sudan, the worst humanitarian crisis in the world today. Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, Ohio (www.ginghamsburg.org ) has responded with The Sudan Project, partnering with the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) in an initiative to live more simply so that others may simply live. The resulting Christmas Miracle Offerings now support a sustainable agricultural program, a child protection & development program, and a safe water project that are expanding to serve nearly a quarter of a million Sudanese. Jim Cole has pledged all proceeds from purchases of this recording will go directly to The Sudan Project.
